Discover How To Think And Grow Rich

In this book Discover How to Think and Grow Rich. This book is a classic written in 1937; Napoleon Hill was inspired to write this book by businessman and multi millionaire Andrew Carnegie. Mr. Carnegie planted in his mind the idea of organizing his principles of achievement into a philosophy of Success. It took Mr. Hill approximately twenty five years of determined effort he called “research” to complete this book. How many of us would spend twenty five years for that matter twenty five days at a business idea without pay?

He analyzed data and talked to 500 extremely successful and wealthy men. It became a burning desire! And then an obsession! This book is extremely motivating; it will inspire you to start “Dreaming” again. Although the title implies it is a book to help get rich Mr. Hill said the philosophies taught in this book is task they set out to achieve.
I feel this is the best book to start our blog series with since we will be covering a time proven Success Philosophy.

Introduction

A Word from the Author:
Andrew Carnegie’s magic formula of personal achievement was “the secret” that he disclosed to Napoleon Hill and suggested he reveal it to the world. Mr. Carnegie and a small group of other infamous and wealthy individuals used this formulate to acquired their fortunes and he thought it was only fitting that the masses should be able to use it to do the same. This suggestion took Mr. Hill twenty five years of research where he carefully analyzed 100’s of exceeding wealthy men success. He discovered becoming wealthy is not a “get rich quick scheme. However, if applied correctly coupled with patience and persistence one can achieve their heart desire whether it is riches fame fortune or even perhaps starting a successful home-based business.

Throughout the book Mr. Hill refer to Andrew Carnegie’s formula for success as “the secret” once you get it you got it and apply it –game on (as they say). The author wants the reader to recognize the Carnegie Secret by reading the book. He concludes this section of the book by offering a clue in recognizing “the secret”, he wrote, “all achievement, all earned riches, have their beginning in an idea!” Therefore, if you have an idea you already possess half of the Carnegie Magic Secret Formula for Success.

The author Napoleon Hill called Mr. Carnegie’s magic formula “the secret” to achieving great wealth or other material greatness throughout the book. Your meaning of “great achievement or success” may be different than mind and others. Whatever it may be we are going to achieve it as we read the book together and apply Mr. Hill’s thirteen principles of his Philosophy of success. .
